We just got a little bit happier because our friend and skateboard legend Ronnie Creager picked up a bunch of our wheels to sell on his webstore, HappySkateboarding.com. The wheels aren't up quite yet but he gave us a sick product review on that portion of his site. Rumor has it that Ronnie even keeps a sml. sticker on his laptop that he carries with him everywhere he goes. Go support Ronnie and buy something from his store!

My Downtown showdown.

I made it to the Vans Downtown showdown cause the Blind squad was asked to participate in the contest with 7 other sick teams. I normally would have been sulking at my house cause it is really hard to watch skating live for me and not get out there and shred myself. I made up my mind to go and support my teammates also for a little shmoozing and boozing, and well mofucky my boys won that shit! Nice work Jani, Jake, Morgan, Rob, Grant, Ronnie, Bill and Jakos and thanks for throwing me a bone in these tuff economic times!

For winning the Vans Downtown Showdown yesterday. James couldn't skate but I'm sure his presence alone encouraged the rest of the team to triumph. James' teammate Jani whatever-his-last-name-is took the whole contest and the whole Blind team, including our good buddy Morgan Smith, took home some loot. I wasn't there to witness the event but I'm sure Austyn did his fair share of ripping for the Habitat team as well.

This is Aaron and he is pretty picky and stubborn but for the most part a nice guy...kinda...well....hhhhmmm... I don't know.....he's kinda....hhhmmmm...well....how do I say....... he can't make up his mind.

The Blind squad went on the Thrasher's King of the Road last year and if you didn't know, we won, by a lot thanks to my trusty team mates! Here is a photo of the sweet trophy we all got. I was super super hyped this being my first professional trophy and a sick looking one at that!

Mr. Gillette checked in with the sml. crew a few days ago to let us know he's enjoying Canada with his eS teammates, doing a couple demos, signings, and maybe a bit of street skating while in between many many hours on the road.

While I'm hurt I've been keeping myself busy by helping friends and doing odd jobs. One of these duties was to interview a bunch of Pro's at The Maloof Money Cup, and not just ripping skaters but MTV stars as well, yes him too! The best moment of that weekend was when we were in the riders area and who do I see right in front of me......FUCKING GUY MARIANO! Ooohhh did I forget to mention this dude is my favorite skater of all time, like i was kinda shaking and shit after I asked for a photo.

He asked what happened to my arm and was super cool and gave me a genuine "hope you get better soon". You can clearly see the happiness on my face. I interviewed him a bit later and I was really hyped to get to do that, he had a cool perspective of the whole MMC and stuff, it might be up at www.californiaskateparks.com.

After I saw this photo I realized it must have been a special moment cause the dudes hair in the back says it all!

It's bloggin time! What's up world this is..........wait that one is already taken. Hello every one my names is James Clifford Craig and i'll be one of your blogging host for this Sml. blog. Normally i'd would give up some footage 1st off but unfortunately I ran into a bit of a break in my skating, pun intended. Below are the X-rays of my right Humerus bone, it's not a very funny bone if you ask me, but yeah so I've been out for 2 months with a month or 2 more before I can get back on board. I was told by upper management here at Sml. that I'm behind on blogging so i'll be dropping a few gems in the next few days, "Sorry I had told Craig an em I was kick it with them today.
